Assays for Identity and Purity of Proteins

Therapeutic proteins have revolutionized the treatment of many chronic diseases and cancers. It is important to control the purity, identity, integrity, and activities of these therapeutic proteins from cell line selection, cell culture controls, to downstream purification, formulation, product characterization, and lot release. CEInfinite allows you to streamline your protein assays for purity, identity, integrity, and activity at all these stages.

Breakthrough High Performance Preparative Scanning iCIEF

CEInfinite can also be an effective tool for preparative iCIEF. You can confidently separate and selectively collect individual protein quickly (30 to 150 minute) at μg or mg levels for further characterization.

Scanning iCIEF Coupled to MS

High resolution and high efficiency 2D separation with iCIEF coupling to MS are ideal for fast proteome analysis. Protein characterization by coupling scanning iCIEF to MS directly can be useful in biologics for understanding the nature and biological activity of protein isomers. As our proprietary cartridge effectively creates electrical isolation between the separation capillary and transfer capillary, the eluent from the transfer capillary can be coupled to ESI of the mass spectrometer the same way as to UHPLC. If you have a MALDI in mind, then spotting the separated protein elution to a MALDI target plate is an easy option.

Protein Interaction Study

Solution based protein interaction studies can be done with CEInfinite without the need of complex labeling, immobilization, multiple testing, and curve fitting. You can calculate both kinetic and equilibrium protein interaction parameters easily with only one sample analysis.

TDA (Taylor Dispersion Analysis)

With a high scan rate and high optical resolution, the CEInfinite system allows measurement of protein hydrodynamic radius and molecular weight without the need for a purified protein sample.
